Jay R. Reynolds, Inc. is dedicated to providing a safe work environment for our employees, our subcontractors and other individuals who are working on or visiting our projects. We continuously promote a “safety first” attitude to our employees. Employees receive 10 hour OSHA training, first aid and CPR training. We address safety topics with weekly tool box talks conducted on each of our active jobsites and we also hold an annual company wide safety training meeting to address new safety standards, safety practices and issues of concern. Our Superintendents and/or Project Managers conduct regular jobsite inspections using a checklist of common safety hazards. Our safety committee meets quarterly to coordinate the implementation of our safety program and employee safety training and to address safety concerns.
Over the past 5 years, jobsites we were working on have been the subject of (31) OSHA jobsite inspections. We have not received any OSHA citations during this timeframe. We are grateful to have avoided serious accidents and injuries on our projects. We are extremely proud of our employees for making jobsite safety a top priority.
